I got an email from a US CapMarkets outfit in London today asking me to confirm when I'd like to do my callback. I replied about 30-45 minutes after I got it (didn't see it right away) and specified a general timeframe (not a specific time, since that's not what they requested). It's now been about 7 hours and they haven't got back to me. The thing is, the HR people who wrote the email and who are the primary point of contact are all in London, so no point in calling them since it's 9 PM over there, but tomorrow's Saturday, so they're not going to be available. I'm worried my email might have been marked as spam (it was sent from my school email address).
What do I do in this situation? Is the CB offer going to fall through or something?

So you answered them at about 2 PM London time. Relax. They're likely busy and just didn't get to it before the weekend. It would be weird to follow up because you didn't immediately receive a response.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 4:02 pmI got an email from a US CapMarkets outfit in London today asking me to confirm when I'd like to do my callback. Seriously, relax. Your school address isn't going to be marked as spam, and there is no reason they'd need to respond to you instantly. It's a Friday afternoon at the end of July and you're dealing with HR, not attorneys. Wait till Monday. If you don't hear anything by COB (London time), check in then.

Should I check in by calling or sending a follow-up email? Because the callback is supposed to happen on Friday, so it'd be good to know what time it'll be a bit in advance (especially since I have to book a place to do the interview from since where I'm staying right now isn't an optimal setting).nixy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 7:15 pmSeriously, relax. Whichever is going to make you feel better is fine as long as you’re polite about it.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 6:40 amShould I check in by calling or sending a follow-up email?
