Miami In-house Salary
Anyone know what the going rate is for an in-house (assistant GC) position in Miami? Trying to figure out how much I'd be leaving on the table. FWIW, I'm a 4th year at a V10 in NYC.

You have not provided enough information for anyone to give you a good answer. This isn't too far off from asking "what is the going rate for a lawyer?" Public/private, revenue/size of organization, type of organization, etc. all matter.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 2:16 amAnyone know what the going rate is for an in-house (assistant GC) position in Miami? Thanks. I guess that's kind of what I'm asking. Outside of unicorn-type jobs, what kind of in-house salary is realistically attainable for someone in my position in Miami?Sackboy wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 2:59 amYou have not provided enough information for anyone to give you a good answer. Interested in this as well. In the past I’ve been quoted numbers that have been quite low- like 140s for fourth/fifth years all-in. Still where I am, so obviously didn’t take that

I know of a Miami-based company that offered someone around that year a $160k salary w/ 20% target bonus. Company has around $9B in revenue and is semi-international.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 7:07 amInterested in this as well. Be prepared for seemingly low comp packages. Miami companies typically pay much less than their NYC counterparts, the reasoning being (x) "we aren't NYC" and (y) "there's no income tax".
