Associate at a big NY firm. Firm management has not yet announced any formal WFH policy, except to say that we are generally expected back in September and to encourage us to go back in if we are already vaccinated. HR has been sending around a non-anonymous survey asking people to report their vaccination status. I have been loath to complete it given that (i) it is not anonymous, although HR claims it will be kept confi and (ii) if a high #of people report they are vaccinated it seems like it would lead to a more inflexible in office policy come September? Have been getting pressured to complete this survey by HR, as they say they are hoping to have full participation to assist in planning the office return. Am I being paranoid and overthinking this? Just don't want to go back in.

Re: Firms and Vax Status
I wouldn't respond to a non-anonymous survey unless I was required to. I would be concerned the firm would try to use my status as a vaccinated person as a stick to push me back into the office and I want to WFH as long as possible.
