V10 Hiring Juniors/Mid-Levels
I am a midlevel/junior at V10 and the firm is hiring for multiple positions in various offices. There is a lot of opportunity right now because we are so busy. Please DM for details.

LOL at your attempt to get that fat recruiting bonus. I know of a form offering 50k per, so respect the hussle.

I may be in the minority here, but this is in such poor taste.
OP, why not just go on websites of firms under the v10 and email randos?

Just say Kirkland. We all get the recruiter emails daily.

this is a lot more efficient, meaning a lot more people will see this compared to the effortlegalpotato wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 8:01 pmI may be in the minority here, but this is in such poor taste.

As far as I'm aware that's every firm (I know of at least 10 and none of which are less than 50k). Even Paul Hastings which is normally the cheapest fucking firm.

The V50 I’m at doubled it to 20 but def not 50. Didn’t realize there were quite a few doing that.

My prior firm (v30) was at $40k and we got a few emails a year reminding us of that during COVID.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 6:57 amThe V50 I’m at doubled it to 20 but def not 50. Didn’t realize there were quite a few doing that.

Do people have that much trust of a random stranger? Even if it's more efficient, seems suspect. I wouldn't email a stranger on TLS (or any other website), let them know where I work, and ask them to help get somewhere else. But I would respond to a recruiter's email (because I can confirm who they are).jotarokujo wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 9:16 pmthis is a lot more efficient, meaning a lot more people will see this compared to the effortlegalpotato wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 8:01 pmI may be in the minority here, but this is in such poor taste.

Also, isn't the whole point of associate referrals that you can vouch (at least somewhat) for the ppl. There is a difference between "here is some kid from my law school whom I kind of knew and seemed smart" and "here is some rando from the internet". Obviously the ideal scenario is "here is a person whom I know really well and can guarantee this person will grind."TLSReturntoWork wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 2:52 pmDo people have that much trust of a random stranger? I'm sure if K&E/LW wants referrals from sources like OP, they could just pay TLS some money for a 1997-style web banner that says "CLICK HERE FOR $50K SIGNING BONUS V10 SORTA PRESTIGIOUS JOB"

Sure but I don't think the person doing this is going to tell the firm anything other than that they vouch for whoever they are referring. They aren't going to be like "hey i found this dude on TLS".legalpotato wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 4:21 pmAlso, isn't the whole point of associate referrals that you can vouch (at least somewhat) for the ppl.
