NYC in-house salary
I'm considering making the switch to in-house later this year, but would need to assess whether my budget can handle it. Anyone able to share what base pay, stock and bonuses look like in NYC? I'm open to various industries, so any insight is helpful.
I know there's a somewhat massive thread where people share that type info, but that's info from all over the US and I'm just too slammed rn to parse through the whole thing looking for NYC numbers. Any info would therefore be appreciated.

Re: NYC in-house salary
For a midlevel, something like $200kish base/$250-300k all in is probably somewhere around the median in NYC. But it will vary a lot, including based on your practice area, so it’s hard to be too helpful without more specifics.

Class of 2017, 225k base+45k cash bonus. No equity, no signing bonus. Nice 401k match on top of this and good/cheap health insurance.

Welcome. You should probably aim higher than me though. I went in house right before the pandemic, and I'd think the market rate has gone up since then because of the pandemic bonus. Also I didn't negotiate because I really liked the legal team and my manager. I'm in the process of trying to get my base adjusted up, and failing that I'll start looking around to try to get to a place that is willing to pay what I'm worth.
