Asking for a Salary Advance?
Hello all, I've accepted an offer at a major market V50, and while we received our start date for the fall we were not told anything about a stipend (which I'm not counting on) or a salary advance. Would it be appropriate to reach out to recruiting and ask if I could get an advance? I assume this is a pretty standard thing to ask for in biglaw, but I wanted to double check that I'm not taking a wrong step.

Re: Asking for a Salary Advance?
It'd be fine to ask, but I also don't think it's something to worry about. I'm not sure there is a single V50 that doesn't do either a salary advance or stipend.
