Lateral offer timing
I had a CB a few weeks ago and thought it went really well. No offer yet, but today the firm asked for my comp expectations. Assume an offer is coming soon or am I reading too much into it?

Without knowing more, it sounds like you're in the running but they're interviewing other candidates. I wouldn't assume you're getting an offer (or that you're not) based on the info in your post.
