I understand that firms that send invites to webinars (e.g., "case studies," panel talks) check if people who RSVP'd did in fact attend.
But do they also check if people who received invites actually registered, and whether they eventually attended?
I feel like checking registration status sounds pretty absurd, but at the same time, it sounds just absurd enough to happen at least somewhere... But really, there's no way, right?
