I go to my appointments even when life is fine for two reasons:
1. when things get bad I don't have to spend a bunch of time catching her up to what led to thing going south, and
2. I don't have to scramble to get into her schedule. That slot is mine every week.
Even before COVID I used the telehealth option.

This thread convinced me to take the plunge ...
Does anyone have a recommendation for a therapist? Obviously for remote sessions, but ideally in NYC - someone who gets the NYC big law life. Great if they take insurance but not a dealbreaker.

Similarly, does anyone have a name they could recommend for a great therapist in Illinois that's also on the up-and-up with the pressures of biglaw (or similar)? I only ask for Illinois because I know that I'll ultimately need to find a long-term therapist that's licensed in my state. Thank you!Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 10:07 amThis thread convinced me to take the plunge ...
