Does anyone have insight into this? OMM seems to consistently land at #1 in all manner of Vault QoL rankings. Now, I know that Vault is worthless dogshit and that the rankings mean nothing, but I'm just genuinely curious how they're pulling it off, because it's anecdotally apparent that these rankings absolutely do not reflect the reality at OMM.
Probably the most eyebrow-raising is that Vault somehow ranks OMM as the 5th most selective firm, over, among others, S&C, GDC, Wilmer, Quinn, Covington, DPW, and Cleary. This is obviously laughable, and there's no way that a survey is producing this result.
I promise I'm not that weirdo with the OMM blog, and I don't have any particular interest in the firm beyond its obvious ability to game Vault; I view the firm as middle of the road in most respects and harbor no preference for or against it. I'd just like to know how they're doing it.

Their partners/staff are probably really good at getting associates to fill out the surveys and give high scores. Maybe they incentivize them with raffles or something.

Re: How is OMM gaming Vault?
I've wondered the same thing. I worked at a v20-level firm that was pretty aggressive about sending out daily emails reminding people to fill out Vault surveys. The emails never told folks how they were expected to vote, but I think that part was fairly implicit. But even with that level of effort, the firm didn't have any wild vault swings or anomalous vault results; at least in my view, the firm's vault scores seemed about right. Makes me think that OMM is offering some incentives.
