Lateral job post removed during post-cb limbo

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Feb 26, 2021 11:56 am

Had a final round of interviews for a biglaw lateral position a few weeks ago, and noticed just today that the firm removed the postings for the position I interviewed for from both LinkedIn and their website. A bit disappointed as I received communication from the firm just about a week ago gauging interest and promising that a final decision was forthcoming. Is there any chance that I may still be in the running? I understand that most of the times firms take down postings when an offer is accepted, but just wanted to see if people have had other experiences.
