Current associates only: what has Mckool Smith's comp been of late? At, below, or above Cravath? I know the firm is not lockstep per se but what is that like in practice?

The firm pays market base-pay scale for all associate class years. It has done so for several years. Bonuses are individualized, but consensus is that they've been at or around market for most everyone for the last few years. This year included the market-wide special bonus for everyone over an hours cutoff, plus a separate special bonus after a big win. With that, I think most expect at or slightly above market all-in for 2021.
