I've been looking at the NALP data for the V25 firms as I make my final choice. It seems like these firms almost always have an entering class that is 100% the size of the previous summer. But can't firms no-offer 2L SA's, then cover this up by hiring people during 3L?
My question boils down to: are the V25 basically all 100% offer firms, or are there a few that are less safe?

The better question is which firms are cold offering people.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 4:23 pmI've been looking at the NALP data for the V25 firms as I make my final choice. Not to side with management but every no offer I’ve heard about second-hand in this tier of firm has been for egregious misconduct of some kind. (Yes, I understand there are two sides to every story, yadda yadda, but still...)
Not saying that unjustified no offers aren’t happening, though.

^ This. I've heard of no-offers but they all relate to conduct that the offender would 100% know ahead of time would result in a cold offer if that conduct was discovered.bcwbcwbcw wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 4:37 pmNot to side with management but every no offer I’ve heard about second-hand in this tier of firm has been for egregious misconduct of some kind. Cold offers are a much bigger deal.

Are "cold offers" common in this tier of firm? I assume it would depend on how you define it, but are we talking 10% of a summer class of ~60?
