which market? if it's New York, then LW for both questions, and it's not close

Latham is the superior firm overall obviously, though. Also it depends on which office you are looking at

Not sure Sidley should be in either discussion. Apparently they have a tech practice but as someone who does EC/VC in the Bay Area, have never seen them on the other side of the table on a deal.

Goodwin is stronger in tech in Boston/CA. And the hours are better than LW. But I would start at LW. You can basically lateral anywhere from LW.
