Questions about field-specific SA (e.g., patent litigation group)

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Feb 09, 2021 3:34 am

Just a few questions about field-specific SAs like "patent litigation group" or "M&A group" etc.

1. Would I be required to go into that group if I take a return offer? Is it common practice for firms to give you a return offer specifically for that group?

2. If I'm required to go back to that group, how long would I be required to stay? What if I want to do something else?
