Freshfields (Silicon Valley)?
Anyone have any insight into Freshfields' new Silicon Valley office? I am thinking of applying to one of their open positions. The firm has apparently made splashes hiring from Cleary in NY and big heavyweights in SV from DPW, Latham and Sidley. Wondering what people's thoughts are on their latest moves.

One of my mentors is one of the founding members of that office, told me some stories about the challenges of setting up an office (not legal matters, but administrative things like buying supplies). But that was already more than half a year ago. The firm at large seems to be willing to spend $$ to grow their SV office aggressively, but this is purely my observation as an outsider.
