Latham reception event/interaction?? Forum

NY. Have you guys heard if Latham had hosted any receptions so far? I have had 0 people reaching out to me after I got an offer from there, it's always me reaching out to them/scheduling second visit and stuffs. It's so weird, since their peer firms are all hosting multiple events.

Went to STB/ PW/ Cleary events, but radio silence from Latham. What's the deal with their recruiting department...

I don't have an offer from Latham but I do have a couple from some of their peers (DPW, Debevoise). Those two haven't held a reception, but I heard they plan to once they solidify the class. Debevoise has held a couple info-session type things though.

By reception I meant offeree event, not summer class reception (those already accepted the offer)

I've been to multiple DPW offeree events and haven't accepted...?

If you have specific questions about the firm that will help clarify your decision-making I’m sure all you have to do is reach out to recruiting or your callback interviewers. Only one of my three offer firms had an offeree event by the time I accepted this week, and I accepted from one of the two that didn’t. I’m way more interested in a summer class reception.

I accepted my Latham offer this past week and a member of the recruiting team said that I would not hear from them for a couple weeks (but I could always reach out with questions) because they are still super busy with recruiting. Seems like they are still trying to get through recruiting and then will reconvene after for events, etc.

Same - I am deciding between PW and LW and the approach they took is so different.

In similar boat, deciding between Latham, STB, and PW. I am actually leaning toward Latham in terms of callback experience and practice area. But I just really wanna know who else (particularly in my school) got Latham as well, so I can get a tangible sense of their personality preference. Sigh, I hope they can host one before my offer expires, will make decision making easier.
