Wondering if there are any recommended books that give law students a solid overview of M&A law? Not sure if it is worth it to go through investment banking books like the one by Rosenbaum and Pearl. Also, I have heard about Takeovers & Freezeouts by Martin Lipton. Are there any similar publications that are more condensed (really don't want to go through 8000 pages lol) and much more recent?
P.S. really looking for books about the technical valuation/legal/etc. aspects of M&A, so not interested in lifestyle/industry books (e.g. Barbarians at the Gate)
Resources for learning the technical aspects of M&A law? Forum
