MoFo vs Cooley (SF)
Which firm would you choose if you wanted to start out doing general corporate work?
Would love to hear thoughts on pros and cons of either/both firms and get a better sense of their cultures.

Re: MoFo v Cooley SF for corporate
Currently an associate at a biglaw firm in the area - would definitely say Cooley. They’re leaders in the market in startup/VC and capital markets work, and they’re up there in M&A as well. MoFo does solid work but don’t really think their corporate practice is particularly exceptional in any regard except maybe some limited cross-border M&A and SoftBank work.

Mofo Corp is definitely not as strong as Cooley Corp. Also mofo deferred its class of 2020 to Feb 1, which is really late compared to the other firms
