CB Advice

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Jan 23, 2021 12:09 pm

Killed it with a CB but messed up when I met with the recruiter. I asked how she liked transitioning over from X firm to current firm she's at, and proceeds to look at me with confusion while stating "I think you have me confused with another person bc I've worked here for the past 20 years ..." Completely fumbled, apologized, and moved on to other questions. Am I screwed for :?: :?:

FYI mid size firm in NYC with >10 summer class

I would not want to work a place where a harmless gaffe by a nervous candidate tanked their application. If I were the recruiter/interviewer, I would not care.

Yeah this seems like nbd. Funny story, wouldn't sweat it at all. And as above noted, if this does sink your candidacy somehow, you probably wouldn't want to work there anyway.
