V5 Former firm not paying money it owes me
Has anyone had this problem? I left over 5 months ago from a V5 firm to a competitor, and the firm has not paid me everything it owes me. I followed up numerous times with the firm, only to be told numerous dates by which it will be paid. The firm has missed those dates each time. What do I do now and why is this happening? Just give up?

You might not get any substantive responses given you are essentially asking for legal advice, but you’re an attorney, right? What would you advise a client to do? Seems like you should know your options if you are a half-decent practicing attorney.

Sounds like you should reach out to an employment law attorney and see what recourse you have. I'm an employment law attorney myself and I could at least bounce some ideas if you want to PM me details, though it obviously wouldn't be legal advice in itself
