Hi! 2L here with a summer associate position through pre-OCI. I originally was going to take Evidence next semester. However, my favorite professor announced that she is taking a sabbatical next year. Accordingly, this is my last semester to take a class with her. My plan is to drop Evidence for the class that she teaches (a policy seminar). I have a summer associate position, and I plan on trying to obtain an Article III clerkship. Will waiting until 3L to take Evidence hinder me in any way? FWIW, I am mainly interested in litigation.
(I know that I could take both, but I try to take the fewest amount of courses so that I don't mess up my GPA, and I am already on a journal and do some other extracurriculars.)
Thanks!

I don’t think that waiting until 3L to take evidence will hinder you in any way. I took evidence during my last semester of law school (as did many, many 3Ls with great clerkships and firm positions). If anything, taking evidence as a 3L will help you when preparing for the bar exam because it will be fresh in your mind. Enjoy the policy seminar!

Nah, just as long as you take it eventually. 3L year is fine.
