GPA needed for return offer
I think I did poorly in exams this semester. Currently have offers from V15 firms - although my offer letters don’t mention GPA, will a low GPA this semester affect my offer and return offer?

To be helpful, unlike the dick above, it shouldn't matter unless there's a pattern of grade drops AND the firm needs a reason to cut someone when giving return offers.

There's no point in stressing over this. You don't even know how you did for certain. As for bad grades impacting a return offer, it CAN happen, but usually only if they are looking for excuses or it's truly abysmally bad (like multiple C/D grades). There's no specific grade cutoff, or if there is, it would be firm specific and not disclosed outside the hiring committee.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 2:36 pmI think I did poorly in exams this semester. I know people who are anxious try to assuage their anxiety with more information, but this is not one of those situations were we can resolve it for you. Only thing I can say the likelihood of someone who didn't just check out or have an acute personal crisis getting grades grades that would jeopardize their offer is pretty low. If you studied hard and did your best, you are probably fine.
