Illinois C&F Timeline?

Post by Anonymous User » Mon Dec 07, 2020 3:17 pm

I passed the Illinois bar a week ago. The message congratulating me also told me that the admission is conditioned upon certification by the C&F committee. I have a small C&F issue and already had an interview with a member from the C&F committee back in November. The interviewer said it’s no big deal and won’t stop me from getting admitted, and the interviewer would send a certification with positive recommendation immediately after the interview.

I checked with my processor and IBAB has not received my C&F certification yet; I sent a check-in email to my interviewer separately with IBAB’s permission and has not received any response. The swear-in ceremony is on January 14th. Should I be worried about any delay in the process or even something worse (e.g. more C&F investigation)? Does anyone have similar experience and know typically how long this certification process takes?

Thank you all!
