Summer Program Details

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Nov 25, 2020 6:23 pm

2L here with a pre-OCI offer at a V100 firm. Feeling super lucky, but it seems like offer letters being given right now have no details. Does anyone have any insight on what firms are looking to do in terms of program length and pay? It’s understandable that in person vs. virtual is up in the air, but hopefully someone has some info...

I got and accepted an offer from a V100 firm. The program last year was shortened, but according to the offer letter, they expect it to be around 2 months, which I believe is the normal timeline. The pay wasn't mentioned in the letter, but in their site they said they would be paying market.

If you already have the offer, don't be afraid to ask questions about what the firms current plans are and what contingencies they're considering. One of my offer letters said they were planning for a 10wk in person program and I asked about what the plan would be if it went remote. The firm (V10 range) said that they would still be paying for the full summer in the event that we would be remote (which they did last year as well).
