Can anyone provide some insight into moving from the NY office of a biglaw firm to HK and the state of the market in HK at the moment, especially for funds formation. What kind of seniority is most viable and what is the expectation in terms of hours and work life balance? What is the best way to go about doing this, whether I should go through a recruiter or try to move internally? How long beforehand should the process start, whether that's speaking to recruiters or the firm?
Class of 2018 at a top fund formation group in NY; have mandarin language skills.
