Thank you very much in advance. After having the first networking meeting or phone call, I can't think of any excuse to contact those people again. I don't have any problem initiating the contact, but I have a hard time maintaining the relations. Is it appropriate to send an article to a senior associate or partner? Do they really need that from a student, junior? What else can I say to them after a while?
And how often should you follow up with the contacts?
Many thanks!

Re: How to follow up after the first networking meeting?
24-48 hours after you spoke you send an email saying "It was great to talk to you, I appreciate you taking the time, I hope to stay in touch, etc" That's it.
Then if/when you need something down the line you reply to that email with your question.
