Hi, I'm thinking of making a lateral move from government work into a non-profit in the NYC area, but because my salary has always been set by statute, I have NO idea what a "competitive" salary means. Does anyone have any information about what a staff attorney with 5-10 years of experience might expect to make at a well-known non-profit in the NYC area? Things on the scale of the ACLU/NYCLU, Innocence Project, NAACP LDF, etc? Would also be curious for any info that anyone might have on the types of benefits they offer.
Thanks!!
