2020 leasing down significantly for law firms
Major law firm’s office leasing activities are down significantly in 2020 as the Coronavirus shutdowns have hit major cities. This year law firm leasing activities are down nearly two-thirds of what they were in 2019. Major cities that were impacted by this decrease in leasing activities include those with the strictest shelter-in-place restrictions. For example, San Francisco has yet to have any major real estate transactions in 2020 so far. Do you think that major law firms will continue to decrease their real estate leases after the coronavirus pandemic since working from home has become more popular?
