Re: WFH until July 2021
FWIW, i’m an incoming associate at a V50 and was deferred to January 2021. We were recently told we’ll have a remote start. HR is currently putting together our on-boarding training, and planning for it to be remote as well.

Does anyone know when DC will start to require people to go back to work? I am coming up on my lease renewal and I’d like to not rent until we have to go back.

No, no one knows, but DC has instituted a rent freeze until the health emergency declaration has been lifted, so if you live in the District, you might as well just go month-to-month and not be locked into a lease term while keeping your rent amount the same.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 9:28 amDoes anyone know when DC will start to require people to go back to work? I was planning on just going back home until offices open back up. Thanks for the info though. Didn’t know about the rent freeze.Tbell247 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 12:02 pmNo, no one knows, but DC has instituted a rent freeze until the health emergency declaration has been lifted, so if you live in the District, you might as well just go month-to-month and not be locked into a lease term while keeping your rent amount the same.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 9:28 amDoes anyone know when DC will start to require people to go back to work? Anyone know how PW is dealing with going back into the office? Or is it WFH until 2021? Any guidance there?
