Hello, all. I am a rising 2L and am wanting to really up my chances for getting a summer associate position. I attend a top regional school in the top ten percent.
When I go to firm websites, they have a person you can send your resume to. Would you opt in to doing this, emailing a partner who is an alumni of your school, or both? Even if they just ask for a resume, do you send a cover letter too? Finally, what should the subject line be?
Thanks!

Re: How to Send Resume
I would personally do:
-just the person it says to send to
-if it says "materials" include cover letter/transcript, if it says "resume" just resume
-can't remember what exactly I used but it would be along the lines of "2021 Summer Associate [Application/Resume]"
