NY CLE Retroactive Time Extension
Does anybody have any experience with retroactive extensions of time on NY CLEs? long story short, i got confused on when my cycle ran and fulfilled my CLE requirements for the most recent cycle late by a few months. I just recently realized the cycle in my head was wrong and I am technically deficient for the previous cycle, though if they counted the credits I earned form a few months after, I would be in good standing. I am going to file an application for retroactive extension but just want to anticipate what the disciplinary consequences will be, if any (like, are they going to penalize me for monumental stupidity? would they suspend my license??).

Re: NY CLE Retroactive Time Extension
I filed for an extension a few months ago about a month after the deadline and was granted an extension through mid February without issue. I finally finished my CLE requirements for that period this week and submitted another retroactive extensive application (so like 2 months late). Got an automated return email from the CLE office automatically granting a 90 day extension because of COVID-19.Anonymous User wrote:Does anybody have any experience with retroactive extensions of time on NY CLEs? long story short, i got confused on when my cycle ran and fulfilled my CLE requirements for the most recent cycle late by a few months. In short, nobody cares.
