I was wondering if a firm I apply to runs international background check if I lived in a different country until high school and how long it may take. I came to the states from college and have lived here ever since. I haven't worked or studied abroad either.
Any info on this?

Re: When do firms run international background checks?
I wouldn't worry about there being delays because you lived internationally as a child. Firms don't background check your whole life - the state bar background checks don't look even ask where you lived before you were an adult. Firms aren't going to run a background check looking at whatever you did in high school, so I can't imagine they're going to run an international background test.
