Holland and Knight Comp (Major Markets)
Understand that HK in major markets tracks the Milbank pay scale for the first two years, but thereafter falls off. Was wondering if anyone had (firsthand/ secondhand) insight into their pay practices (in major markets). Is it a severe departure from the Milbank scale, extremely opaque, etc.?

Secondhand - varies by market and practice group, but base comp for productive associates in major markets tends to hang with the Milbank scale. Bonuses are less.

Thanks. This seems to be my understanding as well. With respect to the bonus data points I've been able to dig up, the amount is wildly variable. Bump for any further information.Secondhand - varies by market and practice group, but base comp for productive associates in major markets tends to hang with the Milbank scale. Bonuses are less.
