2L with a biglaw SA lined up.
My school offers the opportunity to spend a year abroad and concurrently earn a JD and LLM. Is there any career benefit to getting a foreign LLM, or am I better off using 3L to take easy gpa boosting classes?

Go abroad. Take advantage of a guilt-free year in a foreign country.
You know that your job is secure upon your return, so I highly, highly suggest living it up while you can. The foreign LLM probably won't have any career benefits, but it will be important life experience that you'll have forever. As the previous poster said, you can take easy classes.
Going abroad during law school was the best decision I made in my life.
