Job Reposted, Used Recruiter First Time

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Oct 24, 2019 9:22 pm

Title says it all. I used a recruiter to apply to a job. Working with them was a nightmare. The firm took down the post and posted it again. Since this is a new post, can I apply without the recruiter fee or am I going to have to deal with the recruiter again?

For starters, the recruiter said they had contacts at the firm and that was a lie. The recruiter never followed up either but always said they would.

I may do so. I’m honestly surprised the recruiter hasn’t even reached back out about the role. 5 recruiters contacted me about this position yesterday, so it’s clearly being blasted to recruiters.

I believe 6 months or a year has to pass between postings to break away from the recruiter.
