Does anyone have a sense for how difficult the in house job market is in Florida versus other locations around the country, and what sort of salaries you can expect relative to other similar markets? I've been looking on the usual in-house websites for a while now and see remarkably few opportunities in Florida.
If you need specifics: I'm a fifth year corporate associate at a V20 in a major market looking to move in house after bonus at some point. I have strong Florida ties. Ideally Tampa or Orlando, but might consider Fort Lauderdale or other locations for the right opportunity. Do I stand a reasonable chance of finding something decent in the 150k range?
