Booked Vacation Prior to Lateraling to a New Firm

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Aug 22, 2019 1:06 am

I am moving to a new firm in two weeks. I scheduled a 10 day vacation in January before I accepted my new position. Should I cancel the vacation or will the firm be forgiving?

Prob should have cleared it/gave them heads up once you had offer in hand.

But I doubt it’ll be a problem — this seems like enough lead time. If anything, maybe cut it a few day’s short?

Take the vacation and just have that as your main taken vacation for the year of 2020.
