All in DC. Interested in white collar and FCPA, which these 3 all seem to have established practices for, but mainly looking for the firm which provides the best and most substantive general litigation experience more broadly. Would like to keep the door open to be an AUSA in 5ish years.

I think King & Spalding is the choice if you are sure you want white collar and Sidley is the choice if you want to do any other sort of litigation. No reason to consider Paul Hastings.

Thanks to all for the comments. I've heard differing things about Sidley's gen lit practice (and many different takes about their QOL), but I guess the size of the DC office would give you sufficient flexibility / exposure to more areas. Have heard that the actual courtroom litigators there are kind of stand-alone, not established in any one group. Would be interested to hear more about the potential to work on smaller cases which are more leanly staffed and in-house training.

Currently work big law in dc. I would actually choose PH for FCPA investigations, but Sidley for lit/AUSA training.

Have heard great things about PH's FCPA group, but it seems like they're not the best spot for gen lit. Sidley gives more flexibility since DC is a big engine for them, although I've heard negative things about associate life/retention rates compared to firms like K&S and PH.
