sorry to hear that :( keep at it though!
Also was it a personalized email? I'm in an eerily similar position but yet to receive the likely ding
Nope. It was a form email that actually rejected me from the NY office, haha.

Has anyone heard from Riemer & Braunstein? Had CB last week. Heard they give short turnaround times on their offers.

Had a Proskauer callback on 8/14, probably going to send up a followup email to reiterate my interest tomorrow morning. Is that acceptable?

Yep, following up a week-plus after a CB is certainly reasonable.

No, not yet. But talked to a friend last night who sent a similar follow up email at the tail end of last week, and got a response basically saying that Proskauer sent out their first round of offers (presumably to the absolute star candidates), and everyone else remains in consideration/on their ‘waiting list’

I reached out to Proskauer for the third time since my interview at the beginning of the month and got a sassy reply saying they sent a ding email over a week ago. They definitely didn’t. Checked spam and trash in case I accidentally deleted it. It was a super weird response, so if you’re waiting to hear, might be worth following up again. Or not, since it apparently strikes a nerve.

Jesus, that's rough. They haven't replied to my follow-up email from yesterday, so I don't think I'm planning on contacting them again for at least another 10-14 days. I've been routinely searching "Proskauer" in my entire inbox just in case.

Ugh wish I'd seen this earlier. Just had the same thing happen to me - they said they'd sent it on the 19th. There's absolutely nothing in my spam or trash folders either.

How is this shit even possible? Like seriously though. We, as candidates, can't send a post-CB thank you email with even the slightest grammatical error or we're done, but a firm we're waiting to hear a decision from can just not communicate with us correctly.

I’m the original anon with the phantom ding. It’s crazy and clearly something on their end since it’s happened twice. I get that it’s a crazy time for recruitment departments, but being courteous in that situation would’ve taken no more time than being rude.

Anyone heard anything at all re: offers for Morgan Lewis? Got an email saying I'm still in the running but I haven't seen any offers go out.

Not sure about Goodwin, but I know last year Proskauer never sent rejections (aka they just left everyone who didn’t have a callback in the dust).

Same here. My other offers are expiring soon. Starting to think it’s a rejection :/

Wait, what? Are you saying last year Proskauer didn't expressly reject people they had to their office for a CB? Or that they didn't expressly reject for CBs people who had screeners? The latter makes sense, but the former seems like a pretty bad approach...My CB was on 8/14, so nearly 4 weeks ago now, and I haven't heard a word, and my follow-up/'reiterating my interest' email from 2 weeks ago went unremarked upon. Just tell me no, ya know?

I had a CB a couple weeks ago @ Proskauer. Sent a follow-up expressing my interest and received a rejection via email the following day.

I had a CB a couple weeks ago @ Proskauer. Sent a follow-up expressing my interest and received a rejection via email the following day.
Hmm. My CB was 4 weeks ago today, and I sent a follow-up email 2 weeks ago, to which there was no response or acknowledgement. I'm assuming I've been rejected, but haven't been told expressly. Hoping it's not another of those 'we already sent the e-mail but I guess you didn't receive it' situations.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
