Boston - Callback to Offer Time Frame
I've heard from people that Boston offers are a bit slower going out than NY. I did the vast majority of my callbacks last week and was wondering if anyone has heard anything yet or has previous experience with the Boston timeline.
So far I've only heard from one firm (rejected), and that was exactly a week after my callback.

Re: Boston - Callback to Offer Time Frame
My sense is that Boston is trying to speed up and nab folks quickly, even more so than usual. Obviously, depends on the firm and how long they're willing to wait to extend offers, but I think several days, a week max is the offer timeline.
Anon bc my posts probably indicate which firm I'm at, and I participate in recruiting.

That's the sense I get as well, but do you think that getting callbacks in on the "earlier" side might slow things up? Or should I start calling it a wash for the stuff I had early last week?Anonymous User wrote:My sense is that Boston is trying to speed up and nab folks quickly, even more so than usual. Not sure what you mean by slowing things up by getting callbacks in on the earlier side? Like, the concept being that doing a callback earlier means that if firms are waiting to finish all callbacks before making offers, you're waiting longer?Anonymous User wrote:That's the sense I get as well, but do you think that getting callbacks in on the "earlier" side might slow things up? If so, true to some extent--sometimes people will make offers they feel sure about ASAP (depending on how much of they class they filled up with offers pre-OCI), but firms know students will generally hold onto other offers until they collect as many as possible, so firms won't feel they need to dole out all offers within a couple days of callbacks. Don't consider your other callbacks a wash--they're probably working through other stuff and/or you're a backup for offers.

Idk... I had by Goodwin callback on the 6th and still haven't heard a peep. So timelines seem to be all over the place.

At least some folks from earlier last week have heard back already. Since you were later in the week, you should likely hear back this week.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone heard from/know Goodwin's timeline for super days last week? (8/15)
