I have a question about scheduling my travel for callbacks. I have a cb next week in Philadelphia and then have another cb the next day in NYC. I don't want to have to fly from home -> Philly -> home -> NYC -> home. Would it be acceptable to schedule my flights so that I go home -> Philly -> NYC -> home ??
I know firms will split costs if you're visiting more than one firm in the same city, but do they do the same thing if you're visiting firms in two different cities during one "trip"?

Re: Callback Scheduling Question
Amtrak runs a train from philly to NYC pretty much all times of the day, and its like $50 and no more than 1 1/2 hours. Consider taking the train from philly to NYC as I know NY firms dont like us Penn students flying to NY from phillyAnonymous User wrote:I have a question about scheduling my travel for callbacks. Re: Callback Scheduling Question
I did this all the time during OCI now several years ago -- coming from Chicago, DC monday, amtrak to NY for tuesday/wednesday, plane somewhere else for thursday/friday. If i recall correctly you don't even need to split; just ask one firm's travel agency to get your flight from / to somewhere else. They basically get it.Anonymous User wrote:I have a question about scheduling my travel for callbacks. I have a cb next week in Philadelphia and then have another cb the next day in NYC.
