This past summer I worked in the civil division of the USAO in a major city and negotiated an option to return in the criminal division of the same office during a future semester. I am curious if this repeated, although obviously different, internship experience would be more valuable than an internship with the SEC, for example. I would also be interested in trying out a DA's office or a public defender's office, but I don't have an offer from one of them yet.
Has anyone worked in both divisions?
What do you guys think?
