It's been 48 hours--should I send a follow-up or wait until next week? I'm hoping that the reason for the delay is that if they want to schedule it a couple weeks out then it is premature at this point.

Please Indulge My Reading Tea Leaves
Hey all. On Tuesday I received a request to schedule an interview from a firm I would really like to join. I promptly responded saying I'm available. They responded Wednesday asking whether I am free the week of August 11th. I again promptly responded saying I'm available.
It's been 48 hours--should I send a follow-up or wait until next week? I'm hoping that the reason for the delay is that if they want to schedule it a couple weeks out then it is premature at this point.

They'll probably get back to you as soon as they can! OCIs are in full swing right now so I know that recruitment offices are all completely swamped.Anonymous User wrote:Hey all. Yeah just focus on continuing to apply for positions. They'll get back to you when they get back to you, and you can follow up after the weekend if necessary. You have no idea what the reason for the delay is (could be the recruiters are trying to see when interviewing attorneys are available, they have a long to-do list, etc) so might as well focus on what you can control.

You should just got to the firm’s offices on Monday with your suit and be ready to go.
