SA at biglaw in a non-NY major market.
This is my last week, and we were told that offers will be probably out within 1-2 weeks after we leave. Is this a bad sign by any chance? I heard there are many firms just handing out offers in the last week of summer program. The firm did give offers to every summer last year. Two summers were no offered in 2017 (based on Vault webpage). Have no idea about previous years. One concern is that the firm significantly increased summer class size this year (though it looks financially very strong now).
Do 100% SA offer firms also give return offers late? Forum

Re: Do 100% SA offer firms also give return offers late?
In general, yes this is not that unusual. More specifically, the best way to get the answer you want is to look at previous years, which you've already done. There actually another thread just posted recently about somebody worrying because he won't know about permanent SA offers until the end of Aug. I don't think this is anything to be alarmed about. If you've been getting good reviews and the office seems financially stable than you're very likely fine. Regardless, you can reach out to some associates from last year/2017 and see about when they got the offers. Ultimately though, it doesn't sound like there's much to do but sit tight and wait for the call/email. Hope it all works out.Anonymous User wrote:SA at biglaw in a non-NY major market.
