NYU and GULC Tax LLM Job Prospect in SoCal

Post by GraceNeverland » Mon Jul 01, 2019 11:52 am

Hi all,

I am a 2016 JD graduate considering getting a tax llm from NYU, GULC or UCI. I am interested in a law firm job (ideally big law) Southern California after graduating from the tax llm. I don't hate big4 but can't really justify the cost of a tax llm and a pay cut at the same time. Right now I work for a midsize commercial firm in Dallas and practice business bankruptcy. Any NYU or GULC tax llm graduate can advise on the job prospective of big law position in SoCal?

Thanks!!!
