What office?
I'd rather not say. Just trying to figure out if they give out rejections via email, mail, or ghosting.
I had a CB with a Cal office but still no word. Cb was a week ago. When was your cb?

Week and a half ago. Said it would be a few day turnaround, but I guess they could still be interviewing other candidates. Just assumed they might not affirmatively reject people. How'd you think your cb went?

I honestly thought it went amazing... but from the lag in response I’m not too sure. Yours?

Pretty good. Yeah kinda hard to judge sometimes, maybe they're just taking some extra time. Well, good luck!

My school just sent out an email that Mayer Brown is looking for Financial Services and Regulatory Enforcement associates in their DC offices. Seems like they're looking urgently since we have a two day window to send our materials in.

Bad.

(If you’re planning on returning or don’t have another/better offer in hand at this point)

Not as bad as waiting til the last day though I suppose.

Had a weird screener a while ago. Radio silence since then. Anyways I'm done with Weil and I'm going back to the firm where I summered.

Should there be more movement after the firms’ 10/1 deadline to accept or is it basically over?

Is it Charlotte office?

Amen to that friend... feels like crap to lose a bunch of cred you spent a whole summer building just to be strung along.
Different poster, Weil ding this morning.
