What’s the word on Husch Blackwell?

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Jun 15, 2019 7:47 am

What are folks’ opinions on Husch Blackwell? How is it as a place to work? I’m weighing offers and trying to see if there is anything I should know that the firm wouldn’t have told me.

From what I understand, they are a nice enough place to work and have fairly realistic partnership prospects in this day and age.

Have you made up your mind? They're known to be pretty hush about such things.

A friend in the Dallas office hates it, mainly for the culture

Well-played. I did, and I am headed to HB.

Do they pay market? Interested in both Dallas and Denver. Or anything in general you can add about the firm, including bonuses. Thx.

Friends at Husch seem very happy but are in tertiary markets, certainly not the size of Dallas or Denver. Happy from work/life balance, compensation, and partnership prospect aspects.

I summered at HB and thought the culture was good. There is a clear difference between them and V50 firms in terms of amenities and quality of work. But the hours requirements are less and you have a good shot at partnership.

What do you mean by quality of work? I’m weighing an HB offer against a V70-80.
