Is it feasible to practice multiple areas of lit
As per the title, wondering how feasible it is to practice multiple sub-areas of lit as a junior/midlevel. Specifically, I'd be interested in a mix of white collar/gov't investigations, securities lit, and complex commercial lit (I don't have any delusions of doing appellate lit in biglaw). I am interested in the potential exit options of white collar and securities lit (SEC, DOJ, AUSA, FinCen, etc.), but also have heard that the actual work (particularly in white collar) doesn't provide much if any substantive training as a litigator (thus the interest in commercial lit). I don't want to pigeon hole myself, especially if my desired exit options don't pan out. Is it realistic to be able to do some mixture of three practice areas at a firm?

Yes, definitely. It’s pretty rare in my experience for someone to do exclusively white collar investigations work.
