You're fine, it might even help you if it makes you more memorable and shows that you're a nice and interesting person. This is assuming that you're correct in saying it isn't unprofessional.

Unless it was EXTREMELY embarrassing, no. You're fine. The interviewer doesn't even remember.

Caveat, I have not interviewed people but honestly, more likely than not, it shows you are a creative, funny and interesting person. Skills for BigLaw and a nice cv are all important but so is personality. If anything, this at least makes you stand out. Obvs it is not necessarily going to land you the job either but yeah, relax. Nothing to worry about.

Showing that you have a personality generally helps in interviews. Calm down.

Unfortunate that OP deleted his/her post because this post should be put in an internet time capsule to represent TLS. Neurotic, over-thinking, obsessive, no self awareness, with a healthy dash of narcissism, all of which could be forgettable (and forgivable) but what really made this one shine was the false sense of elitism: “I’m looking for responses from v100 attorneys only.”

Lol how rude. I just wanted clarification/professionalism pointers because I've never dealt with this situation before. I've never been on the "other side of the table," so I'm still learning what is/isn't professionally acceptable. I wanted responses from v100 attorneys because well, that's who my interview audience was (and one's interview expectations change based on the size/scope/type of the company). #selfaware indeedlegalpotato wrote:Unfortunate that OP deleted his/her post because this post should be put in an internet time capsule to represent TLS. The V100 *only* was the issue. Cut your lossesAnonymous User wrote:Lol how rude. I just wanted clarification/professionalism pointers because I've never dealt with this situation before. Sorry, don't see it. I wanted responses from a specific audience and asked the question accordingly. If people are annoyed by that, ah well.beeoBoop wrote:The V100 *only* was the issue. To be clear, my comment wasn’t meant to be an insult directed at you, but moreso just a pointless comment laughing at TLS in general. I actually enjoy threads on here, especially the neurotic ones, and have made a few myself. Didn’t think there was anything wrong with your post at all, it was just pretty classic, and the v100 comment drove it all home. Sorry if my comment came across as personal - it wasn’t (although I see how you took it that way due to poor wording of my post). You will do fine and good luck to you. Also, in a few years, when you are driving around in your Porsche, fresh Patek on your wrist, try to remember that nonv100livesmatter.Anonymous User wrote:Sorry, don't see it. The fact that you still don't understand why it's insanely elitist and neurotic to deem everyone who is not a v100 attorney as being unqualified to give an opinion about a very basic interview scenario makes this even funnier.Anonymous User wrote:beeoBoop wrote: Sorry, don't see it. I get what you're saying, though. You were more concerned about what attorneys similar to those who interviewed you would think. It probably would have been better to just say that, instead of telling everyone not to even bother giving an opinion unless they're V100 or better.
/s/ a prosecutor (so feel free to ignore this)
Edit: This is Bingo_Bongo, I didn't mean to post anon.

"v100 attorneys only" is the "did you know I went to Cornell" of TLS posts lmao
